Informative Talks

The project focuses on implementing educational and awareness-raising talks designed to address the inappropriate use of new technologies by children and adolescents, focusing on emotional education as a fundamental approach. The main objective of these talks is to highlight the intersection between technology abuse and emotional and social challenges, such as bullying, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

It is based on the premise supported by psychological and sociological studies that demonstrate the significant influence of emotions on the way individuals interact with technology. The emotional education approach seeks to strengthen young people's socioemotional skills by fostering awareness of their own emotions, empathy, emotional management, and social skills, in order to improve the way they relate to technology and to each other.

These talks are supported by research demonstrating how developing emotional competencies can mitigate the negative impacts of excessive technology use on young people's mental health.

The approach is based on providing practical tools and adaptive strategies to promote conscious, balanced and healthy use of new technologies, while at the same timeand strengthen emotional skills to face the challenges inherent in the digital age.
